Increased valve spring preload improves valve closing at high rpm.
Modification necessary for turbocharged engines, in which the problem of ignition loss on boost or lack of power generation above 5,000 rpm is a common occurrence.
With the modification, the turbocharged engine can safely generate power up to 7,500 rpm.
